GENERAL – APPLICABLE TO ALL DRAWS

1. No person under 18 is allowed to gamble or participate in this promotion;
2. Any person who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order, or who is self-excluded, or who falls into any category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from gambling and/or participating in this promotion, whether in person or by representing another patron.
3. This promotion is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.
4. Participant enter the draw through physically entering a ticket into the entry box during the times that the draw boxes are open.
5. Participants must actively play on EBT or LPMs at the times as advertised for the purpose of  standing a chance to be randomly selected during the qualifying selections.
6. Participation in this promotional competition is voluntary.
7. Entries cannot be purchased for cash, points or through any other form of consideration.
8. Prize winners will be selected by way of random draw. Draw dates and times will be advertised through advertising mediums for this promotion.
9. Participants must enter their draw tickets, into the draw boxes, prior to the actual draw, within the specified times during which the entry boxes are open. The opening and closing times for the entry boxes will be advertised through mediums used within the bingo site.
10. A process for declination to be present at the draw will be available at the Customer Service Desk/ Host Desk /Cash Desk, as the case may be, for the period between the opening and closing times of the entry boxes, before the actual draw, where participants can register to still be acknowledged for the prize, should he/she decline to be present for that specific draw, or when the prize winners are announced on the day.
11. Participants must register to decline to be present at the draws by completing the proxy nomination form available at the Customer Service Desk/Host Desk/Cash Desk, for a specific draw.
12. Participants must register to decline to be present at draws in person. No person shall be permitted to act on behalf of a participant to exercise this rule. Positive and acceptable form of identification must be presented by relevant parties when completing this process.
13. A proxy nomination will only be valid for the respective draw for which it was completed. A proxy form, therefore, can only represent a winner for one draw date, and cannot represent a winner for multiple draw dates or for the duration of a promotion.
14. Prize winners or nominated Proxies who are present will be given 90 seconds to present themselves and must be in possession of evidence of the winning ticket belonging to the winner and; positive and acceptable form of identification. Identification may be verified by way of existing records available on the site.
15. Should the prize winner or nominated Proxy not present themselves within 90 seconds, a re-draw will take place.
16. Should a prize winner who is eligible for a prize but who is not present as a result of declining an invite to be present for the draw, the bingo site shall take all reasonable steps to contact the prize winner via the contact details provided  on the Proxy nomination form or otherwise readily available. In such circumstances the prize winner may within 15 days of the draw claim the prize from the site.
17. Prizes are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless otherwise advertised. Prize winners must sign for receipt of prizes.
18. The prize winner must claim the prize at the bingo site within 15 days of the draw.
19. All decisions are final and binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into;
20. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotion will be disqualified;
21. In the event of technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotional draw, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method will be used, at the sole discretion of Management;
22. Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation;
23. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force
24. By entering this promotion, you provide consent:
    1. that Galaxy Bingo or The Marco Polo may collect and process your personal information for the purposes of the promotion
    2. that your full names may be announced on the day of the respective draws
    3. to take part in reasonable post-event publicity and to the use of your name/s and photographs in such publicity, subject to the winner’s right to decline participation in any such promotional activities.

QUALIFYING SELECTIONS – WEDNESDAYS, THURSDAYS, FRIDAYS AND SATURDAYS

1. The promotion is open to any eligible patron actively playing on an EBT or LPM (“machines”) at a participating Galaxy Bingo site or The Marco Polo Gaming at the specified times for the random qualifying selection
2. Five (5) qualifying entries will be selected at 2pm, 3pm, 7pm and 8pm every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday for the duration of the promotion:

• October – 1st – 4th; 8th – 11th; 15th – 18th; 22nd – 25th and 29th – 31st
• November – 1st;  5th – 8th;  12th – 15th;  19th – 22nd and 26th – 29th
• December – 3rd – 6th

1. Machine numbers will be randomly selected by way of an electronic spinning wheel mechanism – wheelofnames.com
2. When the draw announcer announces the selected machine number, the patron actively playing at that machine must present themselves at the draw area within 90 seconds. Should the chosen patron not present themselves within 90 seconds and have evidence of a valid form of identification, a re-draw will take place
3. The selected “Qualifiers” will each be issued with a manual entry ticket and R250 in FreePlay.  Each site will have two entry boxes in which the Qualifiers must place their entry ticket into either the 4pm afternoon or 9pm evening Saturday Finalist draw box of their choice to qualify for the Saturday Finalist draws
4. A ticket can only be entered into one of the entry boxes.
5. If fewer than the 10 qualifying entries are issued for the afternoon draws, the unissued entries will be added to the evening draw after the 7pm evening winners are selected, following the evening draw rules. These carried-over entries will retain the afternoon prize value. For example, if only 8 of the 10 afternoon entries are issued, the remaining 2 will be added to the evening draw, increasing the total of the 7pm draw to 7 entries. If no entries can be issued on a given day, they will be carried over to the next day’s draws in chronological order.
6. There is no limit to the number of qualifying entries per patron and a patron who has won more than one entry can enter either Saturday Finalist draws ie. afternoon or evening, per entry ticket
7. Qualifying tickets entered into the draw box(es) will be valid for the duration of the promotion period.
8. Qualifying patrons must sign to acknowledge receipt of the ticket into the Saturday Finalist draws
9. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force.
10. The full offer to participate will be advertised through the various advertising mediums.
11. The General Promotion Rules listed above also apply to each of these draws.

FINALIST DRAWS – SATURDAYS

1. Finalist Draws will take place at 4pm and 9pm every Saturday at the participating Galaxy Bingo and The Marco Polo Gaming, for the duration of the promotion:

• October – 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th
• November – 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th
• December – 6th

1. Participants qualify for the Saturday Finalist draws by entering their entry tickets issued from the Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and/or Saturday qualifying selections into the afternoon or evening entry box which will be displayed at the participating sites.
2. Participants or their elected proxy must be present at the draw at the specified times per site or forfeit the prize and entry into the Finale.
3. Participants must have their entry ticket(s) into the respective entry box(es) displayed on site 15 minutes before the specified draw times per site. The opening and closing times for the entry boxes will be advertised through mediums used within the bingo site
4. Prize Winners will be selected by way of random manual draws at the specified times.
5. Winners will be announced by the draw announcer and invited to the draw area.
6. Should the prize winner or nominated Proxy not present themselves within 90 seconds and/or have a valid form of identification, the prize will be forfeited and a re-draw will take place.  The entry ticket must then be set aside and will be re-entered into the same entry box following that day’s draws, and will again be eligible for future Saturday Finalist draws
7. Afternoon Saturday Finalist Draws:  Each of the three (3) winners selected will receive a R2 000 cash prize as well as one limited entry into the Afternoon Saturday Finale Draws on 1st November and 6th December.
8. Evening Saturday Finalist Draws:  Each of the three (3) winners selected will receive a R5 000 cash prize as well as one limited entry into the Evening Saturday Finale Draws on 1st November and 6th December.
9. In the event that not all 3 entries could be issued for the afternoon draw, the relevant number of entries not issued that afternoon will then be issued at that evening’s draw after the 3 evening winners have been selected as per the draw rules for the evening draws.  The afternoon draw(s) carried over will then receive the prize value for the afternoon draw as specified, and an entry to the Evening Finale Draw eg. if 1 (of the 3) entries could not be issued in the afternoon draw, the 1 will be added to that evening draws as per the draw rules, bringing the total for the evenings draws to 4.
10. Winning entry tickets must be placed into the respective Finale Box and cannot be re-entered into the Finalist entry boxes, will not be eligible for further re-entry for the duration of the promotion and will be retained for verification purposes
11. Prizes will be paid in cash, unless the winner requests that the prize be paid via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), in which case the prize will be paid within 7 working days subject to all the necessary documentation to do so being received from the winner
12. There is no limit on the number of Saturday Finale entries per patron
13. Prizes must be collected at the participating site and signed for to acknowledge receipt (not their representative).
14. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force.
15. The full offer to participate will be advertised through the various advertising mediums.
16. The General Promotion Rules listed above also apply to each of these draws.

FINALE DRAWS – 1ST NOVEMBER AND 6TH DECEMBER

1. Participants qualify for the Saturday Finale draw by winning entry tickets at the Saturday Finalist draws at the respective participating sites:

• November – 1st
• December – 6th

1. Afternoon Finale Draw:
   • One Prize winner will be selected by way of random manual draws from the Afternoon Finale Draw Box after the 4pm Finalist Draws.
   • Winners will be announced by the draw announcer and invited to the draw area.
     • 1 November = One winner of R20 000 in cash
     • 6 December = One winner of R30 000 in cash
2. Evening Finale Draw:
   • Site representative will be selected by way of random manual draws from the Evening Finale Draw Box after the 9pm Finalist Draws and will be invited to the draw area (where applicable)
   • The following participating sites have been randomly assigned numbers 1-16

• The site representative will form part of a livestream random draw with the other participating sites – total 16 representatives
• 5 winners will be randomly selected by a bingo ball machine and each winner will be announced by the draw announcer after every draw eg. if ball no. 7 is drawn, the representative from East London will be the winner
• Each winner(s) will win the following specified cash prize:
  • 1 November = 5 winners of R100 000 each
  • 6 December = 5 winners – 1st draw for R100 000, 2nd draw for R150 000, 3rd draw for R200 000, 4th draw for R250 000 and the 5th draw for R300 000
• R10 000 in cash will be handed as consolation to the remaining 11 representatives who did not win one of the 5 main prizes

2. The Finale draws are attendance draws and all Participants or their appointed proxy are required to be present at the draw, to be eligible for a prize: Prizes must be collected in person and signed for to acknowledge receipt thereof.  A redraw will occur should participants not present themselves and/or have a valid form of identification within 90 seconds.
3. Should the prize winner or nominated proxies not present themselves within 90 seconds the prize will be forfeited and a re-draw will take place.  The entry ticket must not be re-entered into any entry box following the draws and will not be eligible for further re-entry for the duration of the promotion and will be retained for verification purposes
4. Winning entry tickets must not be re-entered into any entry boxes and will not be eligible for further re-entry for the duration of the promotion and will be retained for verification purposes.
5. The Finale prizes will be paid via Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) within 7 working days subject to all valid documentation being submitted to Galaxy Bingo in order to do so.
